Training and Events March 2023

The recent weather events have again brought the importance of resilient infrastructure and communities into the spotlight. While our hearts go out to those facing long messy clean ups, our eyes also look forward to the work we all need to do locally, nationally and internationally to find equitable and mana enhancing people and planet friendly solutions to the climate challenges in front of us.

At Inspiring Communities, we believe that whānau, hapu, iwi and community-led responses must be part of the change we make next as a nation to improve wellbeing. That means being active partners in conversations, decision making and action taking at multiple levels. Post Covid-19 lockdowns, there was hope we would ‘build back better’ with hapū, iwi and communities at the centre, but have we really? We’ll let you know!
