Donna is an economist with over fifteen years of experience as a researcher, policy analyst and manager. Her professional work has centred on working for better outcomes for disadvantaged groups. She came to New Zealand from Canada over a decade ago, and she has worked in several government agencies in the social sector.
In this document she outlines the benefits of taking a community-led approach, and the importance of this approach being utilised in social and economic policy.
