>Community Building Blocks
A free online 90-minute group session that helps you connect with others in the Community-led Development (CLD) space, facilitated by one of the Inspiring Communities’ team members. Each session will have a different topic, based around a specific CLD need, framework, tool or resource – but every session is designed to help you explore community-focused ways of working collaboratively and develop strategies to respond to current challenges and opportunities in your work.
>1:1 Kōrero
Get free one-on-one support with a Zoom mentoring session from one of our experienced CLD practitioners, specific to your project, organisation or community’s needs. Explore how to apply CLD tools and thinking to support your mahi.
>CLD Skills Workshops
Join us in person for a one-day skills workshop designed to strengthen your community-led practices and build local connections, in a dynamic group environment. The workshops are held around Aotearoa, so look for one coming up in your region.
>Co-Matters Webinar Series
Take the opportunity to learn from a leading community change expert you admire, with our Co-Matters webinar series. Local and international speakers will deliver a webinar that explores anything from collaboration and thought leadership to the shifts needed to enable effective change, using tangible examples and real-life stories.
>CONNECT
CONNECT brings together small groups of people online each month, creating a supportive, peer-mentoring environment where the topic of discussion is flexible and depends on participant needs. This is facilitated by an experienced CLD practitioner.
When you register, you purchase four sessions that you can use within the year.
>Coaching
Our community Coaching is for anyone working in locally-led ways, whether you are working on your own, as part of an agency, community group, business, Council team or government. You set the agenda for what you’d like to work on over four one-hour sessions with one of our specialist coaches, and we’ll support you to reach your goals. These sessions are great for when you need extra support, to gain perspective, understand what’s working and to help you figure out next steps.
>Qualification
Earn a community-led development micro-credential from Otago Polytechnic, in partnership with Inspiring Communities. This is a self-directed, self-paced learning experience, but the monthly online sessions are a facilitated learning group that allows you to work alongside others who are completing this qualification.
This “mini” qualification validates that you have the competencies to plan and facilitate community-led development processes, hui, meetings and workshops – for a diverse range of groups – and helps strengthen your CLD practice.
