Applied practice in Community-Led Development (CLD)
This stage is for anyone who is ready to put community-led approaches into practice in real-world projects and initiatives. You do not need to be in a formal CLD role. People join us from neighbourhood groups, councils, social services, schools, funders, iwi organisations, youth initiatives, and many other settings where community is at the heart of the mahi.
Whether you are leading a local project, supporting collaboration across groups, strengthening partnerships, or contributing to planning, policy or strategy, these practice-based opportunities will help you navigate challenges, refine your approach, and create meaningful impact where you live and work. Whether you are leading a local project, supporting collaboration across groups, strengthening partnerships, or contributing to planning, policy or strategy, these practice-based opportunities will help you navigate challenges, refine your approach, and create meaningful impact where you live and work. Dive in and turn your understanding into action.

Micro-credential in CLD Facilitation
Our practice-based micro-credential is for anyone who works with groups and brings people together, whether you are a volunteer, coordinator, public servant, funder, engagement lead, or someone who facilitates as part of your role.
This programme is grounded in community-led practice and Te Tiriti, to help you deepen and strengthen the mahi you are already doing: listening well, guiding group processes, supporting collaboration and making it easier for people to work together effectively.
We have a free online information session coming up for anyone wanting to understand how it works, and registrations for the 2026 cohort are now open if you’re ready to get started.

From Understanding to Action
Apply He Mara Mahi Tahi to Your Work
Whether you are new to Tūhono Impact’s social impact garden or have already explored the five elements of He Mara Mahi Tahi, this workshop helps you take the next step and put these ideas into action.
This two-hour online session is for anyone ready to move from understanding to real-world application. You might be refining your kaupapa, clarifying outcomes that reflect your community’s priorities, or shaping impact stories that show what success looks like in your context. Wherever you are starting from, this workshop supports you to apply the five elements directly to your mahi.
There are currently no scheduled workshops, but we offer these sessions on request. If you would like to bring one to your group, team, or organisation, please get in touch with Donna at kiaora@powerdigm.org.nz.

Make the Move Workshops
Make the Move workshops are based on the idea that public policy could have greater impact if it focused on creating the conditions for community-led responses rather than creating and choosing solutions for communities.
Designed using a learn-connect-catalyse approach these in-person workshops are for public policy teams who wish to resource themselves with evidence about what works and practical skills to deliver results.
