Taking action in Community-Led Development (CLD)
This stage is for people working in community-led development roles who are ready to apply their skills in real-world projects and initiatives.
Whether you’re leading a community project, managing an initiative, or facilitating group efforts, these opportunities will help you navigate challenges, strengthen your strategies, and make a tangible impact in your community. Dive in and turn your knowledge into action.
Micro-credential in CLD Facilitation
Inspiring Communities is thrilled to bring you this micro-credential. It will enable you to bring together, reflect on and share all you have learned about applying Community-Led Development (CLD) facilitation in your mahi.
Are you an experienced facilitator of community-led development processes? This important skill is often not recognised, formally or informally. We are excited to be able to offer our Community-led Development (CLD) qualification in facilitation.
This programme involves assessment of a written CLD case study. It will require attestations about your work. You will be supported by 4 workshops from April to August, as well as two one-on-one check-ins with one of our facilitators. Your submission will be assessed in Sept/Oct. You will receive a badge from Otago Polytechnic in CLD facilitation once your work is completed, assessed and ratified.

Make the Move Workshops
Make the Move workshops are based on the idea that public policy could have greater impact if it focused on creating the conditions for community-led responses rather than creating and choosing solutions for communities.
Designed using a learn-connect-catalyse approach these in-person workshops are for public policy teams who wish to resource themselves with evidence about what works and practical skills to deliver results.
