Miracles can happen: what makes transformation possible?
Kia ora e te whānau,
There’s been plenty of good kōrero and connection happening lately. I really enjoyed being part of Re-Shape: Reshaping our Democracy Unconference in Pōneke recently, with some rich conversations about democracy and what meaningful change can look like in practice.
This week I’ll be at Wakamanawa, and I’m looking forward to more opportunities to connect and learn alongside others working towards change in different ways.
One thing we come back to often in systems change is that none of us can do this work alone. The relationships we build, whose knowledge we value, and how we work together all shape what change is possible.
I’ve also been reflecting on some of the communities I worked alongside in Atlantic Canada, and what helped them navigate enormous disruption and emerge stronger. I’ve shared some of those reflections in my latest blog below, including five things I think can help create the conditions for transformation.
And on the theme of people, place and practice, we’re also sharing Hapori Aotearoa 2027 below. There’s plenty in the kaupapa that may resonate with the Powerdigm community, particularly for those interested in how change happens across communities, places and systems.
Ngā mihi,
