Starting as we mean to continue with CLD in 2023
Kia ora koutou, Wow – 2023 here we come! We hope you’ve a great summer break and are feeling renewed with energy for another busy, creative and responsive year ahead. The recent floods in Tāmaki Makaurau are a reminder that change is the only constant and we need to be prepared for anything and everything! With that in mind, we’d like to let you know about some changes in our virtual team. We’ve just welcomed Natalie Gousmett into our new Programme Lead role. She replaces the wonderful Vinetta Plummer who’s headed back to school for a full year of Te Reo immersion learning. Kerry Jenner is taking over the lead on our CLD Micro-credential this year from the wonderful Margy Jean Malcolm – who is retiring/rewiring! We’ll share some reflections from Margy Jean in coming months but in the meantime, we want to acknowledge how much she has given to Inspiring Communities and many other organisations and communities across the motu. A national taonga/treasure for sure! This month also takes us closer to Aotearoa’s annual celebration of neighbourliness, take a moment to read this great blog from Cissy Rock “It takes a neighbourhood to find a cat”. In our first webinar of the year, Yes We Can. Fund effectively, change will happen, the panellists will offer insights that will unlock the power that comes when communities and funders work together to realise their aspirations. Registration is free. More in this pānui: |
